JOHN C. WOLFE October 24, 1985 - November 7, 2014 John C. Wolfe, age 29, a life long Park Rapids, MN area resident, died tragically from injuries sustained in an automobile accident on Highway 87 east of Hubbard, MN in the early morning hours of Friday, November 7, 2014. John was born on October 24, 1985 in Park Rapids to Tom and Vicki Wolfe. He attended public schools and grew into manhood in the Park Rapids area. As a young man, John gained employment working at the Jennie-O Turkey farm near Menahga. Later, he began working for Salo's Manufacturing in Menahga. John was the proud father of three lovely daughters: Jamie, Chelsea and Corianne. He was also blessed with three adopted daughters who he loved as his own: Caitlyn, Nevaeh and Ayamie. John loved the out doors and especially enjoyed fishing with his family and friends. He loved music of all types; but, especially enjoyed classic rock. He loved to cook and was known for his delicious homemade dishes. One of his favorite jobs was cooking at the West 40 Restaurant. John devoted his life to his daughters and immediate family who he loved with all his heart. John will be lovingly remembered by his parents: Tom and Vicki Wolfe of Park Rapids; his significant other, Breanna Fox of Park Rapids; his three daughters: Jamie Erno, Chelsea Wolfe and Corianne Wolfe all of Park Rapids; his brother, Thomas James "TJ" and his wife, Mia Wolfe of Lewisville, TX; two aunts: Rose Melander of Nevis and Mary Smith of West Fargo; three uncles: James Wolfe of Michigan, Les Wolfe of Virginia and Richard (LaVonne) Lilly of Sioux Falls, SD; as well as many nephews, cousins and friends. John was preceded in death by his grandparents; two aunts: Joanne Rassi and Judy Broderson and one uncle Russell Lilly. Memorial services were held 1 PM Thursday, November 13, 2014 at the Jones-Pearson Funeral Home in Park Rapids with Rev. Stephen Norby officiating. Special musical tributes were: "Go Rest High On That Mountain", "Heaven's Door" "Comfortably Numb" and "When I Get Where I'm Going".
